My 100th Post

I'm feeling more like a good book than a blog. I want to be curled up on the sofa with a Diet Max Cola (don't laugh at me, it's better than diet coke- much better flavor- much sweeter)and a book I could lose myself in.

But, I also feel the need to update the blogster. So here's the latest:

I failed on the 21 days challenge. I just couldn't keep up with the daily creating, what with my other demands such as dishes, TV, rounds of Connect Four, spaghetti dinner fundraisers, walks in the park, and other fine time fillers. I did, however, stop picking my fingers so much. The challenge caused me to pay more attention to the habit; and I'm now better at catching myself before it gets too bad. My fingers thank me.

My scrapping projects are going well. I should recieve a deposit for a custom album in the mail soon and I'm looking forward to making it. I made a bunch of business cards to hand out, and Jen and I are going public with some of our ideas. I don't want to say much for fear of jinxing myself. We'll see what happens.

Easter was good. At the risk of offending people, I'll go ahead and say that I successfully managed to have a spring celebration with neither religion nor a bunny. We managed to squeeze in lots of chocolate eating. The kids were happy, Ty was happy, I was happy.

We have visitors scheduled for May and June! Brent is coming for almost a week in early May- just in time to celebrate the end of Ty's exams. Mom and Dad are coming in June, the week I get off school for the summer. Stacy should be following them, and Ty's parents are going to set a date soon. Good times!

Finally, the sun was shining today. Really, truly shining. Everything looks so different in the sun. Ty and I sat on our porch, drinking beer and gazing at our new garden. Very nice indeed. I'll leave you with a couple pics...

Those toes are simply delish...wow do you have an eye for detail or what??!!

And yay on the elevated awareness of the whole fingernail picking habit. Awareness is half the battle.

WTG girl!
