7. I want to write better lesson plans and organize my school day.
8. I want to keep a calendar so the whole family will know what's going on, when.
9. I want to remember people's birthdays.
10.I want to remember to show my appreciation.
11.I want to be less angry and defensive about my non-religious beliefs.

New Assignment from Barb:
1) What is the number one thing you want to change?
I've decided to combine numbers 6, 8 and 9. They all kind of relate to one another and I think if I can get a calender with room for finance info AND birthday info, I'd effectivly be killing 3 birds with one boulder.

2) How will your life be different if you achieved the change you desire?
Wow. Whoa. Wowzer.
I'd be more organized. More organization would result in less chaos. And by chaos I mean running around like a chicken with it's head cut off. Not only chaotic but also gruesome. It would mean better communication between Ty and myself, and if I can teach J how to use whatever system I come up with, it would also mean better communication with him. It would mean less self-flaggulation because I wouldn't be forgetting important birthdays and anniversaries. It would mean a better credit rating and lessen the chance of me dying a slow death by suffocating under a montrous pile of paperwork and bills that don't even make sense.

3) What would your life be like if you never made the change?
Suffocation- see above.

4) What do you think is stopping you from making the change you want?
Laziness. Unwillingness to stick to a plan. Inability to find a plan that fits our family.

5) What have you done in the past six months to work toward the change you want to make?
Huh. Er. Uhm.
I bought a big wall calendar and hung it up and had a different pen color to represent each family member. I faithfully recorded every detail and we were highly organized for about 5 or 6 minutes. Then we walked away and never looked at the damn thing again. I do have to say that if you're interested in what we were doing last October, I could let you know in great detail. My plans for tomorrow? No freaking idea.

On a more positive note, I got a small notebook about 8 months ago. It's simple and little and fits in my purse. I use it everyday to jot things down- dates to remember, images that inspire, quotes, phone numbers and so on. It is handy and helpful.
