I got an email today with those exact words in it. The email was sent from a family member who got them from some newspaper editorial in some state somewhere in these grand U.S. states.
I’m not sure I’ve ever heard anything so ignorant.
It is my not so humble opinion that if you don’t have any desire to change, then you should just lie down and die.
And, there’s another angry blog from Corrie! Cheers! :)

I'm with you chickie, when people stop growing, ie changing then they die physically, or spiritually or intellectually.

heh. maybe we should send said editorialist back to the time when our country began and just leave him/her there to pee in a pot and try to grow corn and kill turkeys (turkeies? ack!) with a musket... if he/she so set on nothing ever changing and all... let's make sure to dress him/her the right way, too. 'cause no one ever wanted to ditch those nice Puritan outfits. I hear they are all the rage on the Paris Catwalks!
