...listening to The Rebirth Brass band live at the Maple Leaf then listening to them on my computer.
I’d rather be shopping for designer jeans then going to TJ Max to look for some.
I’d rather be scrapbooking my own photographs (I have a fantastic photo waiting to be scrapped) then working on Christmas gifts.
I’d rather be watching Lost then waiting for it to come on.
I’d rather be eating the taco salad I just ordered then waiting for Ty to get home with it.
I’d rather be celebrating the end of Ty’s exams with him then dreading the start of them tomorrow. (Don’t freak out. I don’t think he’s dreading them at all. I think he is perfectly prepared. He thinks he is perfectly prepared. I just stress for him.)
I’d rather be drinking a Heiferweizen with a twist of lemon then the Budweiser I’m currently sipping.
I’d rather this week be my last school week before Christmas instead of next week. (I’m pretty sure the week before Christmas break is dreaded by every single teacher to ever walk the earth. I’m no different. I’m not looking forward to a week long, candy eating, we know our grades are already turned in and there’s no reason to study, fiasco.)
I’d rather have a subscription to Creative Keepsakes then Parenting magazine.
I’d rather Ellis get the whole idea of bedtime (lights out, head on pillow, knees tucked up under him in that classic position, sweet red cheeks with pillow imprints) then listen to him yell for more water, more songs, and another trip to the potty. I swear he’ll wet the bed tonight before I let him get up again. Enough is enough!
I’d rather be wearing a t-shirt then a sweatshirt but it’s cold in this house.
I'd rather be hanging out with you and Wen, drinking margaritas instead of sitting here in front of my computer.

I'd rather be hanging out with you a Lisa, watching you drink margaritas while I drink a daquiri instead of thinking about how in the world I'm going to afford Christmas. (I suppose cutting us off from Quizno's would be a good start)
