Stace and I chatted on the way home from work yesterday. When we arrived and I headed off to check the mail, I handed the phone over to E. Stace emailed me a transcript of their conversation, and it is perfect.
E: I want to talk on the phone! I want to talk on the phone!
Me: Hey buddy! What's up?
E: Nothing.
Me: How was school?
E: Good.
Me: So, what'd you do at school?
E: Nothing.
Me: Nothing? All day?
E: (with indignation) Well I can only remember a couple things!
Me: Like what?
E: Well....I had lunch....um.....and a snack.
