Eight years ago today I was giddy with excitement. So very ready to say "I Do", to spend the rest of my nights with him, to become a family, to have a partner for life. And ready for a rocking party that I knew was going to be a night to remember.
And it happened just the way I planned for it to happen. With a pretty dress and gorgeous flowers, with a perfect cake, with the people we love most in the world, and drinking and dancing, and good food and laughter and kids staying up late to boogie on the dance floor, and people years later telling me that it was the best wedding they've ever attended.
And even though the party is long over, and J is now 8 and E is 4, and we wear our sweatpants around the house all day if we can get away with it, and even though my giddiness has turned into something more akin to contentment, I'm still excited to spend the rest of my nights with him, to be a family, and to have a partner for life.

Well I've seen your contentment and it still has a whole lot of elements of giddiness in my eyes. Congrats to my two favorite NO peeps!

I get that! You guys deserve each other which is saying a lot about you both. And, your wedding was the most fun ever.
