I just finished a 1,237 page book. I've been going at it (and its prequels) for weeks. It's as if a huge weight has been lifted from my shoulders- and yet I'm lonely.
Does that sense to any of you?

yes. it's a book thing. I feel lonely a lot of the time when I finish books. I get so involved in the people in the books and then suddenly, POOF, all gone. All of my new friends and family have suddenly deserted me and there are no more pages to turn so I can be back with them again.

I'm always a little sad when I finish a good book and then I get all antsy on the hunt for the next one that rocks my world.
So what did you read?

A science fiction series by Terry Brooks. One of my coworkers found out I was a fan of The Lord of the Rings so he brought me his favorite science fiction series to read. Loving it!

The last 1200+ page book I've read was about Civil Procedure. After I finished it, I felt cold, dirty, and used.
