Crap. And some other stuff that's not crap, but I do have lots of crap all around me.
I was trying to come up with something stellar to write about and I became very aware of all the crap on my desk. Here's a run down of the crap.
- Post-it notes
- Sharpie
- Rocking pen (Papermate Profile, I hate fine tipped pens, this one is FAT!)
- warranty info for our new hard drive
- the CD to install the new hard drive
- my camera
- a card that's half made
- a stack of 100 blank CD's
- various cords that are all tangled and will stay that way till the cows come home or I throw away the whole mess
- a rolodex card holder with the beginnings of a swap that kind of fizzled out
- a stack of papers that my students wrote that I'd like to type for them to make a book
- a coffee cup from Renee's house in Mississippi and Scrabble pieces from our Mississippi house (I sing Memories from Cats everytime I look at those items. It's awful - the singing and the sadness.)
- and most importantly, the coffee that I'm slowly sippin' to start the morning

ooo! my turn!
-three half full cans of Coke
-on 3/4 full glass of water
-one half eaten kit kat from three days ago
-two kids books
-one broken flip flip, size boys' 8
-an inspiration journal
-my SS planner
-a notebook full of scrapping ideas
-a pile of child support related items, including three letters from my lawyer, and a bill (Blech)
-a stack of photo Cd's
-a box of photo paper
-some junk mail is peeking out over there.
-some super glue
-a calculator
-a teeny hair barret
-a purple pen
-two smooshed kit kats still in their wrappers that Katie brought me from the bottom of the diaper bag
-a scented candle
-oh! there's another barret over there
-some scrap paper with assorted lists
-and the journaling and photos for a mini-album I'm working on.
To further clarify, the top of my desk is approx. 3 1/2 feet x 18 inches........ I think there is still a desk under there somewhere..... but I'm not really all too sure. I should take a picture and post it on my blog for you all to see and wonder at.

Wendy, I can't believe you allow Kit Kat to stay on your desk for a period of 3 days. Shame on you, you chocolate abuser.
Nancy, love the caffeine kick you've got going!

What's a Leap Frog Mind Station? Would E like it?

If you have LeapFrog already, the mind station is where you can download new cartridges every month.
There's a yearly fee for the service, but it's cheaper than buying new cartridges.
I'll send it to you along with the books and cartridges I have if you want it!
